The handling of high consistency pulp stock calls for specially designed pumps, which can overcome the difficulty of maintaining a continues feed. The stock pumps are suitable for a consistency of 6.5%. The impeller is of open type with large inlet aperture to prevent clogging. These pumps are manufactured in various sizes to meet the requirement.
The low consistency pump with high delivery head are also available for fan pumps or use in centric leaner plants with semi open or closed type impeller.
